TerraQuant & MR4 Super Pulsed Laser
I had my ultimate laser experience today. I was asked by a MD to treat a patient with severe necrosis. An elderly lady. I took a picture of the leg and toes. Three black toes and the major lesion was 4 inches by 2 inches.
10 minutes after I finished the leg, from the knee down was covered with red blotches. The MD was so astonished by the increased blood flow, she just kept saying, “this is remarkable” over and over. The women’s kids were kissing me, the MD hugged me and the owner of the assisted living home asked if he could buy a TerraQuant laser for he and his wife to use. No matter all the praise and a possible sale.
The women stopped moaning, she was out of pain, and without a doubt the leg will heal. My first serious human success, and a real MD who witnessed it in person. Bonus!

The TerraQuant has been a God-sent for both me and my athletes. Maybe because of age or lack of care, but a knee ligament injury became chronic. After 2 days and 6 sessions on the TerraQuant the scar tissue was reduced 50% and the pain by 90%.

I find low-level laser therapy very beneficial for my patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain syndromes, and an important adjunct with other interventions such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. Layering LLLT with other interventions such as kinesiological taping and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization helps reduce pain and facilitate the healing process. The speed and quality of the results I am getting with my first patient on the TerraQuant laser has been so amazing, it certainly floored me. My patient had obvious internal scar tissue from five surgeries and a trigger finger that resulted from the last surgery. He has been in excruciating pain on movement of his right wrist, which was pretty much unusable. Each laser treatment is bringing more and more of his wrist back. He has undergone four years of surgery and therapy with poor results, and now in just 30 minutes total of laser his recuperation has been miraculous.
He has not been able to write and he can now write and use a knife and fork. He was on hydrocodone for four years and that is over yesterday. I was worried that his condition would come back, but today I am not, because his arm is so free it just could not. It is so amazing it is beyond belief.
I knew the laser was amazing but I did not expect this kind of result on this patient. I was hopeful of achieving perhaps 20-30 per cent reduction of the problem, but it appears that after 3 treatments we are cruising on 70 per cent.

This patient (age 84) had sustained a fractured coccyx several years before and remained very sore. She could not sit straight and not for long. Traveling by car was limited to a few kilometers because of the pain. Analgesics NSAID and acupuncture had had no effects.
The treatment consisted of 12 sessions of TerraQuant (15 minutes at 5Hz) over a four weeks period. After six treatments, this patient was able to sit straight, albeit with bearable discomfort. After 12 treatments, she was pain free and could walk and travel by car without restriction.
